The Plan

The new planting aims to create a tranquil semi-formal approach to the house, using evergreens, ferns and a limited range of perennials. A beautiful central figure of Aphrodite is the focal point, complemented by the truly elegant Cornus alternifolia 'Argentea'. The existing paving is supplemented by an access path for hedge maintenance, using slate reclaimed from the old garden.
